About Astromor
Astromor publishes a daily rashifal (horoscope) for the 12 moon signs, the way a traditional Indian panjika prints it. Every date has its own page, from 1 January 2026 to today.
How a reading is made
Every reading is calculated from the real sky rather than written by hand. We take the planets' positions at sunrise in New Delhi, in the sidereal zodiac with the Lahiri ayanamsa, and read two things for each sign:
- Chandra bala: the house the Moon occupies counted from your moon sign. The 1st, 3rd, 6th, 7th, 10th and 11th are favourable, the 2nd, 5th and 9th are mixed, and the 4th, 8th and 12th are weak.
- The weekday lord: each weekday belongs to a planet, and that planet's natural friendship with your sign's ruler colours the day: its own sign, a friend, neutral or an enemy.
Each page also lists the day's panchang: tithi, nakshatra, yoga, the lunar month, sunrise, sunset and the time the Moon changes sign.
Which sign is mine?
Your rashi is the sign the Moon occupied when you were born, not your Western sun sign. If you do not know it, read the sign your family or your birth chart gives.
